Teledolar connects remittances with everyday Costa Rican access
Teledolar receives family remittances through its own branches and authorized agents in Costa Rica, giving recipients a network that combines dedicated offices with local partner businesses.
The company says it works with more than 30 international remittance businesses, connecting its Costa Rican payout infrastructure with transfer providers from several overseas markets.
Its wider remittance operation supports counter payments, account deposits, and digital receipt through the Monis app, although the receiving method chosen through RemitBee determines how an individual transfer is delivered.
Teledolar also identifies itself as the exclusive representative for over-the-counter remittance payments through Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, adding another locally recognized channel to its broader remittance operation.

Plan a Teledolar pickup around the recipient's real routine
A convenient cash pickup depends on more than choosing Teledolar in the transfer form. The recipient's location, the currency attached to the payout, and the way you fund RemitBee from Canada can each shape how smoothly the transfer works from send to collection.
Teledolar's official directory shows significant variation between locations. Some offices and authorized agents operate on Saturdays or Sundays, while others close earlier or remain closed on Sunday. The directory includes locations across areas such as Pérez Zeledón, Dota, Desamparados, and Alajuelita, so recipients should check the current address and schedule for the location they plan to use.
Teledolar says its broader remittance network can pay in Costa Rican colones or U.S. dollars depending on the service requested. Canadian competitors also advertise both CRC and USD through Teledolar. That does not mean every RemitBee transaction offers both choices, so use the currency and recipient amount displayed in the live RemitBee quote instead of assuming a payout option from another service.
RemitBee currently lists debit funding as immediate, e-Transfer at about 15 minutes, bill payment at one business day, and EFT at one to two business days on its Costa Rica corridor. For e-Transfer, EFT, and bill payment, the fee is $2.99 below $500 CAD and waived above $500, while debit follows separate pricing. These funding estimates are separate from Teledolar's final collection readiness.
What your recipient should bring to Teledolar
RemitBee says its local cash-pickup provider sends an SMS when funds are ready. If that message is missing or the agent cannot locate the transfer, the recipient can use the pickup reference shown on the RemitBee receipt, then contact support before making another trip to the counter.
