Davivienda gives cash recipients a nationwide banking network
Davivienda says international cash remittances can be paid over the counter at more than 540 offices across Colombia, giving recipients a nationwide banking network instead of relying on a remittance-only storefront.
Recipients do not need to be Davivienda customers to collect an eligible cash remittance, keeping this route open to people who do not hold a Davivienda savings account or use DaviPlata.
The bank publishes additional service hours across its office network, including weekend availability at some locations, which can give recipients more flexibility around work, family commitments, and travel.
Incoming cash remittances are collected in Colombian pesos, and Davivienda says it does not charge the beneficiary for its payout service. Account credit and DaviPlata operate as separate receiving routes.

Make cash pickup work around the recipient, not the other way around
Banco Davivienda offers several ways to receive money from abroad, but cash collection has its own use case. Before choosing it, think about how the recipient plans to use the pesos, what the complete Canadian transfer costs, and when your chosen funding method allows RemitBee to start processing.
Cash pickup can suit someone who wants money in hand for household spending, local purchases, rent, transport, or other expenses without routing the transfer through a bank account or mobile product. Davivienda also supports account deposits and DaviPlata, so recipients who already manage most payments digitally may prefer one of those separate routes instead.
RemitBee currently charges $2.99 below $500 CAD for e-Transfer, EFT, or bill payment and waives those fees above $500, while debit-card pricing follows another schedule. The CAD-to-COP conversion still changes how many Colombian pesos reach the recipient, so judge the transfer using the displayed fee, exchange rate, and final COP amount together.
RemitBee's current Colombia corridor lists debit as immediate funding, e-Transfer at roughly 15 minutes, bill payment at one business day, and EFT at one to two business days. Those estimates describe how quickly RemitBee receives your Canadian payment, not when Davivienda guarantees cash at the counter, so the recipient should wait for transfer-specific pickup confirmation.
What to have ready at the Davivienda counter
For a first international remittance collected through Davivienda, the recipient must complete the required exchange declaration and provide a photocopy of their identification enlarged to 150 percent.
Once the payment becomes available, Davivienda allows up to 15 business days for collection before the remittance is returned abroad, so the recipient should avoid leaving the pickup indefinitely.
